About Éditions Norma

Founded in 1991 by Maïté Hudry, and now directed by Virginie Hagelauer and Matthieu Flory, Éditions Norma strives to introduce architecture, decorative arts and 20th century fine arts to as wide an audience as possible, ranging from specialists to neophytes. Nearly 250 remarkably documented works, often bilingual, have been published to date, with contributions from more than 300 prestigious authors, art historians and architects.

Éditions Norma is also dedicated to the rediscovery of great creators from the 30s to the 70s: architects and decorators such as Pierre Chareau, Jean-Michel Frank, Pierre Guariche, Mathieu Matégot, Charlotte Perriand and Jean Royère, and ceramists and glassmakers like Roger Capron, François Décorchemont and Vera Szekely. Alongside these important monographs, thematic works such as those on the decorators of the 40s, 50s, 60s and 70s, on the ceramics of the 50s, on Atelier A, or on 1950s villas, provide an analytical vision of the great moments and the evolution of French decorative arts.

Éditions Norma's worldwide distribution network is based on three structures:

- France and Switzerland: L'entreLivres et Belles Lettres distribution

 - Europe: Exhibition International

- The rest of the world: ACC.
